I am also a Montagnard (Rade) from Buon Ho, Dalak province. I came to the US in late 78. When I attended college in the 80s many people asked me what was my 'nationality' - believe it or not, many Vietnamese students did not know who were the Montagnard. What I told them, when they asked me, look in newer version of American Dictionary, or go to seach engine such as Google and type the word montagnard.

I believe now when people with any education said they never heard of Montagnard, they are just plain ignorance. I found one web site about our race which is very useful www.montagnard-foundation.org
