I'm an 18 year old guy and I can't say I have experience with these montagnards. But since 3 years I'm very interested in the history of the Vietnam War and thus I read a lot of books and I find a lot of information on the internet and so I know that the montagnards helped first the French and afterwards the American soldiers to find V.C. bases; be their guides in the mountains and fought against the V.C. The hatred of the montagnards aganst the Vietnamese is alive because they were always repressed by them so this was their chance to get even
