I was born and grew up in a place that is close the Rhade tribe. In highschool at Saigon, I had three classmates who are higlander from Kontum. They are my friends. Their differrent culture is their mothers are the head of family. They take their mother's maiden name as their last name. They are the native vietnamese We came from the north thousands years ago. The former Saigon regime and the present communist vietnamese government maltreated them. I believe they should get the same right with every other vietnamese. I observed that they put their child in water when they have fever. Other Vietnamese put their child in a blanket when a child has fever. Who is more intelligent? We should not look down on them.
