LZ Jake RVN

Was LZ Jake the same as FSB Jake. It too was along the Cambodian border with an SF camp and 'yards. I bought a cross bow from one of the 'yards(unfortunately it didn't make it back). We got ambushed just outside of Jake in early May 1970, 1 KIA and 4 WIAs. Real short and extremely intense fight.

We had to RON at Jake one night and I remember we had a fellow who spoke French and he was talking to one of their elders. He wanted to know if we were going to help them get the Vietnamese off his mountain once we got rid of the VC/NVA.
