bracelets

I was stationed at Pleiku in the central highlands with the 37th signal battalion (army) on signal hill as I recalled it to be called in 1967 and was an advisor for the arvn rangers when we were on patrol in Dak To, there was a group of montagnards there that helped us, I befriended a young girl, maybe 8 or 9 years old and gave her candy every time they were there, she too gave me a bracelet made of copper which I wore for many years after I came home only to have it stolen from me when I went back to college, never did find out what happened to it and feel very bad, wish I could replace it again. it was a cherished symbol.
