fight for the right

In my personal opinion the Vietnam War should not have happened in the matter that it did. The war and time period was clouded by a mist of lies and cover ups. I do give all the men, including my uncle(Vietnam) and grandfather(Korea), the highest reguards in what they accomplished but I feel the USA should have used different tactics, rather than 'beat around the bush' and chase charlie thay should have went after the supreme power(china) and made an offensive on china crushed the "reds" then with no chinese support the Vietnamese would be put down easily(easier). This is only my opinion and I am still young but I respect the men that gave their life to benefit the all.
