Hopefully there won't be a next time, BUT for your info, the US military didn't lose that "war", the politicians did, and with the media's help have brainwashed the public into beleiving that hype. We slowly pulled out as the ARVN forces took over our areas. After we were out, the Congress refused to supply parts & ammo for the US made weapons we left the ARVNs with. After a couple of years of wear & tear, the equipment was in bad shape & ammo low. The North's forces then swept thru the country against an ill-equiped and outgunned ARVN force. No US units were there except training personnel. We did not lose the war--look to congress & the media for your losers. The ARVNs fought hard, & died for their country & we abandoned them. Yes, some ran, why fight a T54 heavy tank with an M16 rifle. I'd run too. Probably had no bullets either. Thank you, US. JimL
