I only accuse the U.S. government for using us to fight their war, promising us many things, then leaving us alone to fight a war we didn't even started. To this very day, Laos and Vietnam hates us because of the fact that we were the U.S.'s allies during the Vietnam War. That is why it was called "Secret War". I am angered and saddened to see that many Vietnam vets blamed us for their losses when it was their own government who drafted them there in the first place. We were never supposed to fight in that war but was tricked and used by the U.S. just so another letter won't come back to another American's family saying,"We regret to inform you that your son died in battle, blah blah blah". Our people died for your people and we get no recognition for it from the U.S.'s countrymen. None of our people's names are up on the great black wall in Washington...if it wasn't for us, that wall would probably be twice as long. Even to this day, our population doesn't even add up to the lives of our people that were lost during the war...so I am not barking up the wrong tree, I'm barking at the right tree, the United States for using us in the most shamefullest way. If you want more documentary, more information, check out Michael Korpi's documentary entitled, "City of Refuge". And you should read "Tragic Mountains" by Dr. Jane. Or even learn more info about what really happened, how we played a humungous role for the U.S., and how they betrayed us- all on the internet. I assure you that you will be surprised, as well as upset, and disturbed on what your country did to the Hmong. Thank you for your time in reading my message.
