Who do you think supported the South Vietnamese with the Napalm that burned Kim Phuc? Who financially backed the South to fight a war that Americans wanted nothing to do with? Why wouldn't people turn against their own countrymen when they became animals over there? I guess you are also one of those rare few that think Calley was justified in My Li 4. Those children asked for it didn't they? Do you also stand behind Tim McVeigh--after all, it wasn't America that did anything wrong. America didn't manufacture the planes used in Vietnam or manufacture the Napalm that was used---right???? Is it also untrue that Americans trained the South Vietnamese to fly their missions? Poor people! So misinformed. Thank God there are enough of the uneducated out there to set the rest of the world straight. I think the picture tells a story. It shows that the human race can be so uncaring when men further their politics at the cost of the innocent. We have outgrown war. Don't you understand--it isn't who is responsible that counts--it is that mankind as a whole is responsible. The picture will always stand as a testimony to the horrors of war--just as the fireman carrying out the baby from the Federal Building will stand as a testiment against crimes against humanity.
