I wish I were there

I am brazilian and was born in '72. Since I was a kid I was fascinated about the military life. I am now 2nd Lt of the Brazilian Army in the reserve group of Engineers. I have watched most of the films about the vietnam war and a documentary called Dear America, letters home from Vietnam, which put me astonished about the horrors that happened there. Sure, the reasons for fighting at a war may not be justifiable, but I feel like I could face the death to protect my homeland. Some may say I'm nuts,but that's it.
