typical american.

From Giles, on Fri, 28 Mar 2003 07:19:18 GMT (in response to: NOT FRENCH)

The quote is

'It is from his time in the French Foreign Legion that he got the name Giles, which is French as you might know. ' The French Foreign Legion is a unit which employs Foreigners so that they can fight for France, without using French lives. That is why it is called FOREIGN.

Although I'm BRITISH my name is very similar to Gilles, which, is French. Neither Mabbe nor myself like to be called French so he calls me French, that is why he said "which is French" not who is French. In Belgium although the Official language is French, a lot speak Dutch.

I apologise to any Belgians who read this but it is like trying to explain the game of cricket, which I will not go into.
