You want a summary?

Can it really be summed up? Our men and our women were sent to a country where both the enemy and the country that they fought for did not accept them, did not want them there. Some Americans gave respect. Many gave hatred. Many died. For what?? Those who came back, never really came back. Pieces of our MEN were left in Vietnam. You want a summary. My father came home from Vietnam as many many men did, so messed up emotionally because of what they were forced to do by our country. And then, our country couldn't even give them the damn respect they deserved. They had no choice. They were forced to fight this war. And it was the pussy college students who at the same time dodged the draft and spit on these boys, and I mean boys, who had no choice but to fight this war. If you were middle to lower class, a minority, you had no choice but to join or be drafted. So there is your summary. We went, we fought, we died, whether it was of the physical nature, or of the mind.
