I may have not taken part in the war itself and am not an American myself. But the bravery and sacrifices of the youth in the war touches me deeply. The suffering of the famlies , their loss of a loved one at war is part of war it self. The image of a young soldire holding a letter from aloved one, I treasure most. The pain, the love and sadness all mixed in one scene. They left their hearts at home to fight in an unknown area with unknown people. They lost the lives..for what? Was peace brought about. What was their life worth? Yes.....it was worth a lot.....but the future they could have had? My country is going through a war at the moment. The LTTE in SriLanka is fighting for the northern part of the country. They misguide the international society with pictures online ...massacars that they themselves cary out and they portray it as the deed of the SriLankan government. They hold fund raising events in other countries saying that the Tamils in SriLanka are facing racial hardships. Not so.we welcome them as our brothers and sisters. Money flows in. They but weapons , creat a wrong image and terrorise the country. Youth are dying....innocent people die.what for? Just for LAND? From the moonland appears as one. We make imaginery boundries..
