I am a member of the 1st. Cavalry's LRRP/Ranger organization. I am trying to locate any Dega who served in this unit. The American soldiers called them "Kit Carson Scouts" and had a high level of admiration and respect for them. The standard statement is. "I'm glad they were on our side." Any help in locating any Kit Carson Scouts would be greatly appreciated.
