Thanks to all of you

From Robert Webb, on Sat, 13 Jan 2001 20:16:45 GMT

I just want to say a short and sincere thanks to all of the men and women who were involved in the conflict of Vietnam. I know that you have not been treated properly by the U.S. States since your return and I am sorry for that. I am sure that the majority of you did not "want" to go to war and be exposed to the nightmares of the fight. Please feel some comfort in knowing that there are some of us that were born in the generations after the Vietnam War that honestly appreciate your sacrafices. When I watch the documentaries on the History channel etc. and view photos from sites like this one on the internet I try to imagine the fears, the smells, the sounds that are projected through the two dimensional images. I will never know what it felt like, but, from what I can imagine I know it was hell. I don't know if I could have taken that level of torment, therefore I must aknowledge and honor each and every one of you. Sincerely, Robert Webb, born October 24th, 1962 email: webbrob@usa.net Bristol, Tennessee, USA
