The only way to relate to my oldest brother.

The War was nothing but politics and money making for governments at same time to downsize the population of our countrys. It is another way for the congress to play us as a pawn in the 70's. You might say I'm young and ignorant but really a lost from a brother who was to come home after finishing his tour to come a Chicago cop and practice law to come a lawyer. Instead do to young Americans who end up stupid and signing a life a way with not enough of gratitude or respect from government or the people to say it is wroth it. Yes I'm a soilder as I write this. Explain to me as a soldier if my life was taking during the line of duty as they call it. That the GOVERNMENT of U.S. going to make sure my kids have the excellent education, money for new clothes as they grow up as time goes by. Make sure that my wife is secured in a home until she passes away to a better place. But the main thing is even if the GOVERNMENT supplied all this, one question remains is when the kids ask is "WHERE IS MY DADDY AND WHY ISN'T HE COMMING HOME LIKE THE OTHER TIMES HE HAS BEEN GONE LONG PERIODS AT A TIME BUT CAME HOME AFTER A YEAR OR TWO". Yes the government will say a lie or two but never the truth. He died in combat as in someone for no reason shot him or blew him up because we stuck are noses in some place for no reason and we have wars here in the U.S. every day as in starving vets to children and fanilies, homeless vets I see makes me sick because the government didn't want to give him a home or a job that suites him or her when they lost a limb or eyesight. You get the pitcure of why I'm writing this. I'm not mad for what our soldiers did but what they thaught was right when our government said it was alright. I feel for you vets but some might as well been like my brother who died for no reason at least he isn't seeing what provail after the ugly war. You see it then you know what I mean. My brother never knew of me because he died before I was born. I never knew him because he was dead by the time was alive. But what was sad is if he was or wasn't over there like the rest of the soldiers it didn't matter because Veitnam had no effect towards us do to the battle was between the South and North Veitgong. The big thing was that we lost before it began do to we where in some ones elses home which will kick any one butt. My theory is that if another country wants freedom they'll fight like we did when we fought for Independece on 4th of July in 1776.We had only the new colonies and old fighting for freedom, hell did South Veitnam, Kuwait, Kosovo, Bosinia, and any other countries we step in to help but get kicked in the end.So you vets to currently serving check your country before reinlisting. Vote, no speak up because you gave more then any rich bastard gave or government agent did. Your life. It is your Country more then any person who didn't serve.
