My father was a medic in the Vietnam War before I was born. The war had a profound effect on him which was at once, both positive and negative. Seeing your outstanding photography helped me put into perspective the experience which shaped my father's view on life and living, which subsequently influenced me. You are a tremendous photographer, and I hope that my photography may someday have as profound an impact on others as yours had on me.
