Please Help! I'm looking for some quotes or statements

I am doing a presentation over the Vietnam War, and I would like any help with any statements any Vets can give me. Also, statements from people who were for or against the war that did not fight in it. The topic I chose to study was how such ordinary human beings could lose all sense of morality in a war. I am not being critical, I know that war does it, and it is not something necessarily bad. I feel that the only way you could survive war and still keep your sanity was to lose all sense of morality.
