Dear Viet Vets,
My name is Electra and Im a 16 year old student and
Montgomery colledge, MD. When I was 14, i started watching
the movies and reading the books on Nam. NOw im hooked. The
War is the only thing i think about, My room is covered with
pictures from the war, and I where shirts that say Im not
fonda
Jane, and Vietnam: I was there,... even though i wasnt. I
wanted to thank you guys because when I read all your stories
it motivates me to do better in my life, thats how I got to
colledge at 15 and why Im studying to be a lawyer. Your
stories have tought me the value of life. I go down to the
wall by my self when ever I can, and just stare at it, and
its such an experience. My parents and friends cant
understand this obsession, but Im thinking that maybe you
all can, I'm not interested particularly in the history of
nam but the human element of what you guys went through.
If I think about it so much, its even in my dreams, almost
every night.
I even started a personal scrapbook on Nam,I just wanted to
thank you for teaching me to work hard and live to the fullest.
God bless you and your legacies.
