I too am grateful...

I too want to express my gratitude to all the men and women who served in the Vietnam War. I too am sorry for how our country men reacted to your return. Please accept my sincere thanks for all that you did and all that you went through.

FOR THOSE WHO DID NOT SERVE IN THE WAR or have an interest in it. I suggest you read Mark Becker's book titled 'Nam.' It is a collection of stories he got from vets (both men and women) about their experiences in Vietnam. It is a real eye opener and made me appreciate what the men and women went through who served there. It also gave me an insight as to why some things happened that vets were critized for. An insight so many did not take the time to see. Otherwise they would have given the vets a much more hospitable welcome home.
