I can't believe some of you Americans are that stupid. You beleive all the media crap that is spoon fed to young, about Australia. If anything, Americans are the ones who carry on with all the bullshit. Constant flag waving, song singing patriotism etc.... Go ask your parents or grandparents about what they think of Australians. There was nothing but praise for the aussies during both wars from you guys. The Aussie soldiers are naturally tougher and can't help it if they were better at their job. They had nothing to prove either, as they already carried the reputation of the previous ANZACS. Aussies don't carry on with all the bullshit you yanks carry on with, just do the job and didn't showboat.
