Someone doesn't know their history very well, but then I'm not surprised knowing how great the American education system is anyway.

The convicts came to Australia, yes, but the British sent them to the US a long time before 1778. So I wouldn't go touting the criminal past of Australia without looking at you own history first. We also had a heck of a lot of free settlers who came here too.

As far as the convicts are concerned, maybe you should review the pitiful crimes that someone had to commit in order to be transported to Australia. [ie stealing a loaf of bread, or a hankerchief] I think you'll realise that there really weren't a lot of criminals, just people who were forcibly relocated to Australia under the guise of being a convict.

If American culture is so great, then why are your kids shooting each other at school? And you want the world to be like you?? Wake up and smell the coffee seppo!
