Can someone help me please???????

Please if there is anyone out there that can tell me where to go to find someone anyone that may have known my father. He was killed in Vietnam on May 8, 1970 in CHU LAI South Vietnam. He stepped on a land mine. I never knew him, but he did name me. He died in May and I was born July 13, 1970. I have pictures of men I don't even know and I would like to find out who they are. His name is Larry A Foster from Gastonia, NC. Thanks for the time you took to read this.
