Thank you for what you fought for it never was or ever will be a waste.

I have studied and read a lot about what the brave soldiers did in Nam and what they went through. Many men fought gloriously and died bravely to support and defend democracy and the freedom of a people and those that did not die should know that what you did over there wasn't a waste. The fight was for good. I just want to thank you and shake your hand for what you survived though many didn't. And never forget what those medals mean. Because they aren't just pieces of tin and ribbon, They are memories of the brave and great men you served with.
