It is impossible for me to ever understand what you guys went through over there. After all I was born four years after it was over. However my uncle was there. He never wants to talk about it, which I can understand, but with the rest of my family I can still see the pain in there eyes when ever it is brought up. He was sent over there in the summer of 1970. For two years my grandfather (who flew his B-24 50 missions over Europe during WWII) grandmother and my mom woke up everyday wondering if they would ever see their son and brother again. He came home in December 1972. This man who fought for his country was spit on as he walked of the plane. His troubles continued for many years after. It's been 28 years since he came home. Not only in his eyes but still in the people who loved him the most the pain is still there. That's why I say I apprecate everything you guys did and YOU WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN
