Who survived with me from the 9th Infantry Div. 2nd/60th TanTru Alpha Co., 2nd Platoon in 1969!!!

From 'Machine Gun" Sgt. Larry D. Kobella, U.S. Army, on Sun, 19 Dec 1999 00:29:05 GMT

I often wonder who out there survived as I did and that served with me in my Army Division in the era of 1969/70 Vietnam War. I remember the terrible memories but yet I remember the family that we all became as one unit. I am looking for anyone out there who knows of or who survived this place so close to hell that was by me. The names that have burnt a hole in my memory are MYERS from maybe New York, HARRISON and TURNER from St.Louis, Missouri, ANNABERNETTI from Louisiana, ANZEROUS from California, HAAS from who knows where, CAPT. TODD from the Carolinas, SLOAN from who knows where, but was one of my Ammo bears for my M60 machine gun, STEVE from Cleveland, Oh., and many more of good men, but the names have left me.

I have tried to forget the hell we all endured and I have forgotten allot, I don't want to go back, but a part of my sole was left in Vietnam and everyone that I served this mission with has a piece of my sole I left there. If anyone remembers this era, was with me, knows someone that was with me, LET ME HEAR FROM YOU.

FORGOTTEN BUT CAN'T FORGET!
