Strange mindset

Hi,

there are some quite bizarre opinions here..

1) Population control by means of war? How come I meet right-wing people who are against abortion and contraceptives, and pro war? I do not know whether you are one of them, but they really exist!! Something is fundamentally wrong here.

2) I do believe that negative opinions need should be allowed from non-veterans. We do allow opinions about WW1 and none of us were there, right? Taste this: "the recruits of WW1 were fooled by their government to fight a war, creating horrors that exceeded the root cause by far". Not a too provocative statement, I think. Problems arise when people are unconcerned about the feelings they provoke. Yes, even Swedish academics (that's me!) should be entitled to have an opinion. But I can not judge on other individual's perspectives, aand that's where people feel hurt.
