I'm glad you have an interest in the war. I have a tale about that movie Platoon. I saw it in 87, exactly twenty years after I had returned Stateside from Viet Nam. During that twenty years, I never spoke a word about the war, and never mentioned to anyone that I had been there.

Sitting in that theater less than two minutes into the movie, I felt something inside myself, something ominously stirring and awakening. I won't go into detail here, but that movie sent me straight into a Vet Center, where I underwent treatment for PTSD for almost two years. I may never have healed had it not been for Oliver Stone. Today life is good, and I'm at war with the government which sent us over there.
