Hello. My name is Monica (some call me Maggie) and I have just spent the last 2 hrs reading all of these responses. I think this is a wonderful site. I know I'm only a 20 yr old girl but I have always held such a deep intrest in the war. And in reading all of these I think it's great for younger kids to be interested in it and want to know more about what really happened. I to have been out searching for information, but everytime I come in contact with a vet all I can do is stand there like a idiot because I am so overwhelmed with respect and awe that I can never speak a word. Plus I hate to pry into such a delicate subject. I have no reason for my intrest. I have not personaly known anyone in the war but I read anything and everything I can get my hands on. I also have visited a art gallery in Chicago filled with nothing but art from Vietnam Vets. It is an amazing place. If you've never been there please do go. It broke my heart. If anyone knows of some other good places to go to I would love to here about them. And also if anyone knows of any orginizations in which to help Vietnam Vets I would apprciate that info as well. I know you have all heard this so many times in your lives from people who don't even know you but I want to say it. " I think all that went there , some who came home , some who did not, are and always will be heros. People who deserve the upmost respect and love for what they did. You are all beautiful souls and I hope now that time has passed you can see how truly wonderful you all are ". I would love to here anything anyone has to say good or bad. You could e-mail me ( but sometimes mine does not work ) or if you feel like getting old fashioned you could write me @ 814B Melton Ln. Evansville, IN 47712. Thank you so much for letting me read all of these things that are a part of you. Maggie
