A person seeking identity

Dear Prof. David Alan Black, E. Kenneth Hoffman, and David Alan Black,

I would like to show my appreciation for the efforts that you have put forwards to develope and maintain this site. I have only started looking at some of the picturesand look forward to viewing them all. For a Vietnam born young Vietnamese American male who knows little of the richness of the Vietnamese culture or the gentleness of the people, the pictures offer me a glimpse into who my people are and who I am. I hold back the tears when I see the children that have gone through so much suffering, and realize how proud I should be to be part of a people who have gone through so much and survive and prosper. I sit here with so many questions about so many things. I would again like to show my deepest appreciation to all those who have contributed to this site. May there be peace on earth.
