while you are right about many people not wanting to remember Vietnam and its condition, the condition of its children, and how the poorest of the poor are being exploited by manufacturing companies, ect. If you were to show the same pictures to one of the American soldiers who spent more then one tour in Vietnam during the war, you would find tears, pain, anger, and more remembrance in one person then you could ever think possible. Every American who served in Vietnam, left a piece of her or himself there, and there isn't any way to recover that piece. What they do have is the memories and all the rest.

I know, I spent four years and six months there, in the medical field. I saw it all.
