You simply don't know what was going on.

The reason why we were in vietnam was to help the French. We started with them. Its not like they just woke up that day and said lets start a war with America. If you'll actually look up some stuff about it and not just hate anyone who isnt American, you'll see that we wouldn't have lost so many people if the government would have just left. You should be more angry with the government. They didn't want to lose a war so they refused to give up, causing more death. We should have never entered that war. It was a civil war between them and we had no business there.
