I thank God that it was not you

I read your story and I am thankful that you did not live that life.You are not above those children, your pain fills their lives with hope that they will someday look you in the eyes ,and say thank you. Because they are not the forgotten ones to you. If it did not hurt you it would not leave such a permanent sketch in your memory ,and they would truely be lost.
