Children

I understand

From Kim Potter, on Fri, 29 Jan 1999 06:31:48 GMT (in response to: It could have been me...)

I was born on Feb.28, 1975. I was found by Sister Susan McDonald and lived in the New Haven orphange in Saigon until I was adopted by a wonderful family. I have a three and half year old son named Nicholas. This time of year is especially hard for me because I know my birthday is coming up and I have really just begun to deal with my adoption and the extreme loss I feel from my biological parents. I like you saw the photos of the children had a very hard time holding back the tears. I am greatful that I was adopted into a loving family that cared for me and nursed me back to health. I have been waiting my whole life to talk with other orphans who feel or have felt similar feelings about their loss of their parents and their adoption. I would love to talk to you anytime.
