Just leave us alone,please

I'm vietnamese myself, I used to be lookes like that during the war,half-naked,constant hunger, and frigtened. Please don't take our lives ( or whatever you americans call it)as a discussion as a sympathy or regret attitudes.Just make me sick. Did we ever ask for you sympathy or for your help? Just be self-respect and leave us a space for ourselves, will you. This time I do ask.
