My wife an I were just in Saigon this past summer. We are americans and live on the east coast in Delaware. Even today the children wander the streets selling chewing gum, post cards, etc. None begged. The prettiest little 5 year old girl came up to our cab to sell us something. The best we could do was to adopt a little 12 month old orphan girl from an orphanage in Saigon. It was the best thing we ever did in our lives. She now can see what was at the other end of the rainbow.
