WEll I THINK IT IS okay to be racist on a cultural/ society level but not to genralize / seterotype the individual.
I don't like muslim culture or asian culture much believing them to be largely inferior to that of protestant base white culture, by my standards. However I do not presume that every asian or arab or etc (sorry for this generlization but is just by the way of argument) i meet holds to the cultural tenants. Thus I do not sumiarily judge them.
However, racisim is born out of historical reasons and twisted for political means. For example, to say some one is black, ie a skin difference is the main issue is made out of context. To say some one is black summerizes a whole host of things, in the same way to say a car represents something with an engine, wheels and seats etc, you simply call it a car.
Further to stereo type is not always bad, it provieds a quick way to cope with different cultures and situations that have been arived at through generations of experience, it is a stereo type because it is common. It up to the observer to taylor this stereo type or disregard it if it is two broad or unaplicable.
However to the gentlmen that statred this thread i am happy to know that the laws of thermo dynamics will relegate his neme to swift termination....think it through peoples.
Ps I wish i could spell.
