I agree with you whole heartedly that america has a history of exploiting their people and I personaly don't like considering myself american ( I'd rather us African American) But I don't think that you're right in saying that WE should be ashamed. The majority of americans don't beleive in what American politicians do so we have no reason to be sorry because we didn't do anything. It's like me saying that all white people should apologize to me for their ANCESTORS beatings mine. That's not a very fair way to think. It's also a little stereotypical to asume that all americans have the same mentality.
