We're all (only) human

Ashamed? No. Proud? No. As an American citizen I am not proud of all that our country has done. I think we all realize that there have been some big mistakes in the course of our history. Yet at the same time, I recognize the fact that this country has done a great deal to help millions of people around the world.

It is unfair recognize only the negative results of the actions of the United States. I may not be proud of some of the harm we have inflicted upon other nations, but I AM proud to be a part of this great country.
