Americans In Nam

Hello Redneck,

It's a bit late to respond, but here I go any way. History documents seem to tell me that the US went to Vietnam to contain one front of communism. If the US didn't stand up to communists in Europe, Central America, Africa or Asia, I think most of the world is under communism now.

It was a competion between East and West. The East (Soviet Empire) collapsed. I'm a Vietnamese American and also an American Veteran now.

I benefit from this country, and I contribute what I can.

The native Americans were sorry for their fallen comrades. Contempory vets are sorry for current losses. The Vietnamese are sorry for theirs. Some others are sorry for all losses.
