No one needs to swear to make a point. If you have something of value to say, it can be said without any profane or vulgar language.
Using dirty talk doesn't not make something you have to say more important - and if a dirty mouth gets you more attention - it's NEGATIVE attention.
When people have something really important to say, they can say it without taking the name of our Lord in vain and without filth.
The Delaration of Independence got attention - and it's all clean language. What could be more important the the Constitution of the United States? Our founders didn't find it necessary to use unclean words to make their point.
Yes, we have all heard a drill instructor - let's not imitate him in these pages. This should be a useful exchange of ideas - it's not basic training.
Let's keep this discussion on "higher ground" and watch our mouths. Nobody's gaining anything by using "locker room language" - leave that for the teens - we're grown-ups, and need to act it to set a good impression for our kids.
