My knowledge of Kenya began with reading about the Mau Mau insurrection in the 1950's and the "blood oath" of loyalty, which included the eating of blood and body parts of victims. Do I get to criticize you for that? Should I wish all Kenyans dead because of that? You have to be careful to separate out acts of human evil from acts of policy. Soldiers, for the most part, because they are disciplined or because they are as moral as other people, just do their jobs and don't get involved with crime.
