Where's your respect?

From untitled, on Tue, 14 Apr 1998 00:45:12 GMT (in response to: WISH ALL VETS WERE KILLED)

You know if you read through all these things said to this person it's as though you all were trying to bring on another war. It happened you can't change what happened. Maybe we shouldn't have been there maybe we did the right thing. As you said it's almost thirty years later how can you talk about something when you don't even know what the circumstances were? You'll never know the REAL strength and courage that it took to go over there and protect what you believe in! I think it's incredible that anyone can do such a thing! You say that you read about eye witness acounts, how many of them were a veterns accounts? How much did you READ about having to see things that the inexperienced mind cannot concieve of? These men served to protect us, the government, and their own opinions and beliefs. Maybe some bad things did happen, but other things just as bad happened to U.S. soldiers. War isn't one sided like that. Everyone suffers something. In your case you suffer from extreme ignorance. Not the kind of stupid ignorance, but a "one sided ignorance" open your eyes and look at it all before you say such harsh things. Its painful to see someone trying to get an edge on respectable people, when he/she is uneducated. I'm sorry but no one else should hurt like you want them to.
