Military

soldier of a different era

From Angi, on Mon, 09 Sep 1996 15:25:07 GMT

My name is Angi, and I am a soldier in the United States Army Reserves. I am only 21 years old, so I am too young to remember the war, and to know what it did to our country. However, for being as young as I am, I am fairly well versed on the topic of Vietnam. It breaks my heart every time I read an account on how little the American people supported the soldiers in Vietnam. I hope that I never have to go fight in a war like Vietnam, but I hope that if I should, I would have the support of the people I am fighting for. For all of the vets out there, although it may be too little, too late, I support you, and the job you did. And as a female in the military, I am proud of my fellow soldiers.
