I have always been interested in Vietnam, even though none of my family was involved, especially being in a hughe being one of the gunners or pilot. please bear with me if I make mistakes. I once talked to an nice man who had been in 71st airborne and ever since then i have been hooked. What makes me mad is the way veterns or the survives were treated the war, or when ever they came back home. Many ppl laid down their lives for what they were told, that they were fighting against communism and for freedom. there were all these demonstrations for the war to end and many veterns were thought of as the bad guys for going to nam and fighting in it. well, now i have said what i thought, not that it is much note-worthy feel this way from observation, not experience. i feel proud of all the vietnam soldiers, survivers and those nolonger with us, and hope the next generation, or my generation will never forget what was sacrifised and that there never has to be another war like Vietnam.
