Why I fought

Thanks for your belief in the justness of the cause. When I went to vietnam in 1966, it was to serve. To defend. Just as soldiers did in previous wars. There was no doubt in my mind, that I would go. It was what I had been brought up to believe. While there, I was not confused. I knew I was there for a good intent. I still believe that.
