The Fall of Saigon

Hello,

I am an American student studying at the University of Edinburgh for a semester. I am currently taking a very good course on the American involvement in the Vietnam War. I could get into a discussion on why I did not learn very much about Vietnam in my American History classes in grade school and high school, but I won't. As a final project, I am writing a paper on why Saigon fell to NVA bo dai on April 30th 1975. I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts, personal recolections on this topic.
