Memories returned, thanks

Thanks for the display of photos. I had to laugh at the grunt hunched forward with his ruck. That is what I remember, standing with a forward lean to counter balance the ruck.

I see from the variety of comments that we haven't changed too much with our battling perspectives of the war.

I've made my peace with the war. I enjoy reading about it now. I'm old enough to know I didn't know it all was a 19 year old grunt medic. But oh, if I could only have known it then.
