The Vietnam War was a waste of American lives and of Vietnamese lives. Not one of you people who have given responses seem to realise this (okay, maybe one or two of you do) I'm an Australian and I'm 14. You might think I have no idea about the war. But do I need to? If I can understand that Vietnam was a war that did not help anyone, then surely the rest of the world can?
