Raymond Albert Hensley was only 19yrs old. He was programing computers for Bankers Trust He had a chance to go to collage. But fate being what it is. He was called for his turn Instead of going to collage he went to war. Flying over a country he hated. He was a SGT he was a door gunner on a helecopter. Doing something he would of rather skipped in his life I was only 3yrs old when died. Every time I saw a flag I would say"look mommy theres Raymond I only hope that all these vets we have forgotten will for give us. Because I would guess that at that time in their life they would of rather done something else. But being the people they were or are they went. I don't know if I'm in a way glad Raymond didn't make it back because I would be afraid of the way our country would treat him. Im now 32 yrs old I still look at the flag a think to myself "Look mommy there's Raymond" So you see the american flag still means a great deal to some of us. So maybe the next time you notice a vet instead of judging him for something that he had to do or chose to do you will offer him a smile. Remember "Look mommy there's Raymond."
